Later, William James, a pioneer of psychology, reinforced the idea that our memories form a continuous stream that shapes our present and future.
In more recent years, Milton Erickson’s work in hypnosis laid the foundation for therapeutic techniques that allow us to access the unconscious mind to reframe memories and influence the future.
